The Perfex Large HM is approx. 5 oz. The Onnex brass is 7oz and actually feels a bunch heavier. The regular ones are somewhere around 4.1 oz I recall, so in between the Perfex regular and HM. To me, they feel much more substantial than the alloy Perfex. I like release aids with a bit of mass to them.

So I have recently switched to the Iron Will HIT inserts + collars and they appear to be more durable so far with similar impacts. My only complaint with the Iron Will system is that the HIT inserts only go up to 100 grains, while the Ethics inserts will go up to 200. Thanks everyone for the help.

Jul 25, 2012 · The MR series is so much smoother and easier to shoot than the original version. As far as the back wall I don't think there is much difference there. The real difference is that there is no drastic drop into the valley on the MR series like on the originals. Speed wise I haven't seen one be faster than the other.
