Functions of Tradovate are mere fractions of NinjaTrader. Tradovate charting tools are laughable. The trend channel tool is absolute trash. I personally prefer how lightweight & simple Tradovate is. If you donāt need a ton of fancy features then it works perfectly fine imo.

Ninja has a fantastic DOM for trading. The charting packages are both free to try. I've tried amp and ninjatrader trials, but I think amp and Sierra combo is the best. Ninjatrader takes a while to start up and load charts, versus Sierra which takes a few seconds only. Customization in sierra is also amazing. Tradovate Quality vs other platforms.
