So I want to say that I've had the Wicked Edge for almost three years now. I started with the Gen 1, immediately upgraded to the Gen 2, and last week finally got my Gen 3 vise. For me personally, I should have stuck with the Gen 2 and spent that $200 on other accessories.Cost me around $30. Buy some soaps/creams, and learn how to lather. Find the facial prep that works best for you. There are tons of options, but don’t get overwhelmed! Pick something that gets good reviews and give it a go. You can add a safety razor now, or wait until you get comfortable with the lather routine.Maggard Safety Razors are cheap and highly recommended for beginners. I strongly recommend this starter kit. The Parker 26C is exceptionally comfortable (disinclined to nick) and efficient, and at $29 is not out of sight.
