Well it stayed in 4 wheel even when it was in 2 wheel mode. I tried stoping and backing up and putting it in'N' and it would not come out. The light was still on and it was in 4 wheel. So when I got to work I turned off the truck then I turned it back on with the knob in the 2 wheel position. Then I heard two loud bangs then it was back in 2 wheel.

A quick reminder; Tundras have FULL TIME HUBS. this means that you must drive a few feet in either direction to FULLY engage them. Simply pushing the button doesnt engage the syetem completely. The transfer case may be in 4WD, but the hubs are not. Thats why the indicator flashes at you.
