1. #1. Posted October 3, 2013. Hey I recently picked up a 1991 suzuki ltf 250 quadrunner when I went to look at it it started right up just needed a little carb work. After the carb work was done 2 pulls later it started right up but once I turned it off and tried to start it again it wouldn't start and when I cheched the plug there was no spark.

More. Ok I have this 1992 Quadrunner 4x4 that is about to drive me nutz. I rebuilt the carburetor because the needle valve was letting gas drain thru to the crank case. Rebuilding the Carb seemed to take care of the gas drainage problem, but after the motor warms up it starts cutting out and seems to h...1st there is 2 circuits inside the ECU that control the fuel pump relay. 1 is during the boot up (turn on for 2 seconds to build up initial fuel pressure and ECU gets to see if the pump is electricaly working) 2nd circuit is when the part the controls the fuel pump relay to "stay on" while the motor is running.

Another thing to note is if the valve timing is that far off or the chain has skipped teeth, you could possibly have a bent valve that is hanging up. Id be doing a serious inspection of all the cam timing components. It sounds like it might just be time for a rebuild. Keeep us posted.
