Ever since new, our 2017 Outback 2.5i Limited with keyless access and pushbutton start has unlocked either front door by just walking up to it with the key fob in a pocket and touching the door handle. Similarly, all we've needed to do to lock all doors was to touch the three engraved lines at the front of either front door handle.
