If you ported into the castle thru the outside teleport. Get out and actually go to the castle on foot, then take the siege tower and follow the side of the castle to the right and get into the castle by climbing the ladder. I had the same issue but this seemed to fix it. Hope it helps.

When I look it up people just say to teleport to a site of grace inside the castle, but I only have the ‘impassible greatbridge’ site of grace. I hadn’t defeated the two beasts before the first castle site of grace yet, and now the door to them won’t open. What do I need to do to complete castle redmane?
