I believe each will have a $30-$35 activation fee. The rep says sometimes if you call after the fact you can get it waived. I have been a Verizon customer for 15+ years and don’t ever call in asking for them to be waived , it’s just that $35*5 adds up all at once.
Customer service will not be waiving it. Cheapest way is to do online and get half off, so 20 instead of 40. You get a gift card of 250 per line, pay the activation fee.
