Chrysler pacifica service shifter.
It does this by monitoring gear position using the shifter and only allowing it to start when the shifter is in park or neutral. With the service shifter and the no start I suspect that our shifter assembly has failed and does not send that signal for the vehicle to know it’s in either park or neutral to be able to start that way.

You can have the battery loaded tested at many national chain auto parts stores for free. No need to waste time at the dealer unless the battery is covered under warranty.My 2018 Pacifica has been at the dealership for a total of about 4 months with a 'service shifter' issue. They have done many things to my car, including changing out the shifter but a week later the 'service shifter' warning came on and my car would not move. I am at a loss.How to fix a service shifter light on, how to fix all gear shift lights on.We have a similar issue with 2017 Pacifica. Around 10-20 mph, the van shifts hard, randomly. It slams the gear. This is supposed to be a family minivan and we don't feel it's safe at all with my two kids in the van. My wife is so afraid of driving this car.
