This is for the masses , the people who buy an off-the-shelf 22-250 and buy OTC ammo, additionally the 22 arc fits inside of an A.R. 15, whereas a 22-250 will need an AR 10. of course, there will be people out there who build a 22 to 50 specifically to use with this bullet, and it will be a fantastic round and will surpass the arc.The trend continues with overall length, as the 22-250 is the longer of the two at 2.35" compared to 2.26" for the 22 Nosler. Coincidently, the maximum overall length acceptable for the AR-15 chamber is 2.26". With a larger case comes more case capacity, and the 22-250 can hold a whopping 44.6 gr compared to 34.2 gr for the 22 Nosler.I went with the 22 Creedmoor for the sake of having something different. Easy to form from 22-250, 6mm Creedmoor or the 6.5 CM. I went with 1:8 barrel and couldn't be happier. A 10 shot average over the Magneto gives me 3511 fps shooting 80 gr.
