Springfield Prodigy 4.25” - would swap internals, trigger, and send off to get ported. Would put an SRO and a Streamlight TLR1-HL on it. Staccato P or new Staccato C when it drops - Plate & SRO for each. Streamlight TLR1-HL for the both. From what I have gathered, both setups would be at, or around the same cost as one another all said & done.
The Springfield Prodigy has a guide rod like this, and though it’s not as nice or easy as the Dawson Precision guide rod that the Staccato uses, it’s effective. He had looked at the gun and seemed interested but was on the fence. I walked over and told the sales kid I'd take it.
