Shock Arcanist is the best wizard for lower difficulties (as you can just dpr through enemies), Court Mage is one of the best wizards for higher difficulties when you can't do that quite as easily. As someone that always plays on cataclysm difficulty, I suggest Court Mage personally. Pathfinder Kingmaker is a lot like that. Pathfinder Kingmaker and the upcoming Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous would be the closest imo, though mechanically character creation is a lot more complex (and customizable) than Solasta's 5e.
