Posted January 22, 2011. I absolutely LOVED Oasis but Epic has her beat with the aft balconies. Oasis has no standard balconies which face the wake. She has other ammenities such as the boardwalk and aqua park instead of cabins facing the wake. I loved Epic's totally private aft facing balcony cabin.

The Epic inside cabins are well decorated and have loads of storage. They are better when the beds are set up as singles rather than a double though. The bathroom you presumably know is odd though and many people don't like it, I didn't mind, I travelled with my aunt and it was fine. 2.

The specialty restaurants and MDRs are all similar enough to every other NCL ship. Epic entertainment is meh…but that’s becoming more of the norm across NCL fleet. The Epic's does have the feature of an aft patio. But both have the other fun features that make the Thermal Suite special. The Escape has Pinchos Tapas which is one of our favorites in the fleet and only on that ship.The Beatles will do at least one show in Epic main theater, and I think they have an Elton John tribute. Jewel has smaller productions that look to be very entertaining. We’ve sailed Epic and Jade (similar to Jewel) and found both ships to be fun, entertaining and good food.
