So far I've only used the Shiftpod for one 4-day camping trip (New England) - unfortunately i was forced to put it away slightly damp (morning dew, not soaked from rain). To store, I put it in the living room of my cabin mostly upright and set-up, but I wasn’t able to completely pull out the sides because of space.I'm not super familiar with the shift pod, but is sounds like any pop up tent will suit your purposes. They take minutes to deploy, are easy to do by yourself. The bigger ones are usually designed to walk in.
