The ropes are lighter and overall quieter. I do have the buckles on the straps covered with kayak grips but even just pulling the strap tight can cause a bit of noise on quiet days. The ropes also "slide" up and down on the tree easier once the stick is set so you can make a small adjustment here and there if necessary.

Hey guys. Just wanted to share what I did recently with my Hawk Helium’s. There’s a lot of guys running rope mod with Amsteel. I decided to make a UCR mod (Utility Constrictor Rope). So I had some 7/64” black Amsteel and a bunch of Endura Dyneema rope in same size but in blue. This little rig holds up nicely!
