P0090 u1800. I have an 02 lb7. Went to replace ignition switch and it created a short somewhere. Engine cranks like its going to start but cuts off as if there is no fuel. I hear what I believe a sound indicating continuous power going to the fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump. If I pull the ignition relay in the main fusebox it stops.

The most common problem on the Duramax is the EGR. That and head gasket issues. As far as electrical issues, this is really the only other one I know of. I changed it by removing serp belt, ac compressor, removing the two main plugs that rest above the hardline to the upper rad hose.
