The VP9 was fun to shoot, but I personally liked the CZ better. For him the answer may be different. I liked the CZ for the following reasons. 1.) Grip size. Just fit my hands much better and felt more natural. The VP9 was good, but the CZ just felt better. 2.) The grip texture. Although some call it agressively, I like the CZ texture.

I got a shield and I liked shooting it better than my stoeger cougar. So I decided to look at replacing the cougar which is my current bedside gun with a gun more similar to a shield that can also hold a light and 15+ rounds of 9mm while having a thinner and better feeling grip than a cougar.
What really stood out, was the weight. While not quite as crisp as the VP9, the APX trigger was noticeably lighter. I knew the APX was a good gun, I just expected it to be noticeably less good than the VP9. Turns out not to be the case at all. For my money, and my opinion, Beretta APX is absolutely on par with HK VP9. Beretta doesn't make crap.
Any personal knowledge of reliability with suppressors for the CZ P10 TAC models VS HK VP9 Tac models, would be appreciated. I ask because it's not uncommon to read about Sig p320s not running well with suppressors of many brands.There are 3 gens for the CZ P-10 Gen 1, Gen 2 and what I call Gen 1.5. If recomend a hammer like a p-01 if you want a little bit more weight, but the P-07s have better grips that aren’t so bad.
