As a kid I spent many weeks/weekends in my parents 1976 Apache Royal pop up camper. My family has recently been trying to get back into the camper, but we can't figure it out. My dad was the camper guru and he's no longer with us. I believe the camper's top pops open with a crank style system found under the back portion of the camper.
