Nothing blocks windows like that except actually barricading it with planks or metal. alright thanks. Buddy is wrong, you can barricade windows with furniture. You have to place the furniture outside though. The large metal skips work excellent, but are heavy to move.

Zombies can break barricades. But they only attack windows/doors if they hear/see you nearby first. Barricades only increase the health of the window/door. Barricaded windows/doors can not be passed through. Though you can remove the barricades if you need to. 2.
