Marlin 81 parts.

Marlin 81 feed issue. My old marlin 81 is having issues feeding the next round into chamber from the tube. Looks as if the tip of the round is pointing to high to enter the chamber. I believe they were replaced by the 780/781 around 1970. Yours would be much older without microgroove rifling. $125 sounds like a fair price.

I order parts #403640B NI (Marlin 81,81C,81DL) and #403640C NI (Sears 103.133, etc.) and both screws fit. The last part for the Sears 103 rifles didn't list my 103.229. Where all this got screwed up is Numrich's schematic for a Sears 103.229 and the Marlin 81 shows a magazine feed and mine is a slide tube feed.
