Before closing the door, manually flip it back to locked and you've now locked yourself out of a running car. Hopefully that key still works. J. jhrober. It's easy to fix and does not require removal of the door panel. Pry off the access cover then loosen the torx screw. This will allow the lock cylinder assembly to be removed from the door. The only customization settings (MY 2013-2014) are in the attached tables. You need the proprietary Subaru select monitor tool to change the settings. I don't see auto lock in drive as an option.i hope u wrap the screwdriver with a fabric or something cuz if not u'll scrape the glass and or break it which would suck even more then locking your keys in your car. u could always pop the trunk and if ur not a fatso u can go thru the pass thr back seat or get something to hit the unlock button with. -Ben-.
