Gmc sierra radio display not working.

2008 Silverado Radio not working! So the truck was passed down to me by my relatives and it came with many issues that I resolved instantly but the radio is simply not working. It’s just a black screen, no display, no sound, but the buttons are lighting up. Happens less frequently now as time goes on but have to sometimes turn off the radio manually. also the truck does not always turn off all dash and steering wheel lights after i set the factory alarm.
