F30 AWD to RWD Conversion. Hey everyone I have been tracking more and more my F30 335i AWD and I am looking to save some weight from unnecessary things. One of them is the AWD system. Seems like that is pretty heavy and unnecessary. I run xDelete on and off track most of the time as I like how the car feels much better than with the AWD system on.

The b48/b58 1st gen injectors are different from the b48tu/b58tu injectors. The tu injectors have a smaller tip and will fit loose on the b48/b58 1st gens head. The S58 injectors should be similar size as b58tu injectors. I am not sure if the M5 injectors will fit but if it does, the rail will need modifications as it's a screw type injector.

This is very cool, I've been looking at more information on B58 swaps because the N55 in my 435 isn't doing particularly great.. when it blows I really want to swap a B58 because I dislike the N55. B58 will be no exception, especially since it's on the transmission side it should experience even less oscillating forces. I've also never heard of a B58 needing a timing chain service & the early ones are approaching 10 years old, I wouldn't worry about it personally.
