Be forwarned , you'll never be able to get the Lectron perfect bottom to top at the same time , it was originally designed for two strokes.

And TM40 comes with 17.5 PJ (and 165MJ) if you buy it from mikuni or wherever. That carb is designed for 400~650 cc single bikes. So IMO again, DRZ shouldn't need even 22.5 PJ. check for any binding or sharp angles in the cable. make sure that with out the cable the carb will close freely and easily. running should make zero difference. Did you ever figure this out? Posted February 9, 2015. Lectron are pretty good carbs, no jets to fiddle with, just set and forget. They don't need to be changed for altitude of temperature. The Lectron 4 stroke carb is a High Performance carburetor, we are totally jet-less so we use one metering rod to control entire fuel circuit. That being said our the 4 stroke Lectron carb does run richer and a bit higher RPM at idle. then, after installing the choosed needle, leave the pilot air jet in place and reduce size of the pilot jet untill idle (set at 1800rpm) reacts to fuel screw (stopping working or loosing about 400rpm). it must happen between 0.25 and 1.25 turns from closed. from that point open about 1.25 turn.

The MX is just there to make the most power it physically can. It'll be thirsty but will lift the front easily. As mentioned, the suspension and sprocket setup make a big difference. Make sure you set the front up properly as well, saw a video of a DRZ just tucking the front when landing, veering off into a fence.

People use the Lectron carb which I think is like the same thing.
