Community servers using Chernarus map will have to do the same soft wipe, at minimum. It seems your best bet is to play on official servers. They almost never wipe, whereas most if not all community servers are wiped at least with every major update. Little word of advice on joining restarted servers; do not join in the first minute or so after a restart because it might fail to load your character data, this has happened on quite a few occasions to me and multiple of my community over the last month or so, the only possible explanation being joining the server to soon after a restart. 1.
