I usually go for lenth in my 1 hander so it's usable on horseback but again i agree with you and use the 2 hander axe. I have experimented with the bannanian long falx weapon which seems longer and stronger but was unwieldly and 2 long. The vlandian polearm billhooks etc are maybe worth a look. Calradian_Butterlord.

Mordhau's system is really good. The directional swings in particular are very responsive. Bannerlord almost feels like it has a dead zone where you can't easily switch to a different attack direction. Mordhau's is probably a little bit twitchy but there's definitely room for a middle ground in there.
