About one in 25-40 starts the steering wheel radio controls do not work. Once they do not work they will not work until the truck is shut off. Once I restart they may be fine for weeks. Try re-seating the ribbon cables and it would not hurt to clean the contacts with a pencil eraser while it is apart.
