A few seasons ago it was the lost sector on Nessus with Carl rewarding exotics helmets. I got master down to under 2 minutes on my solar hammer titan trying to get a better loreley. Never happened. Maybe it'd be worth it they rewarded tens of thousands of glimmer, dozens of shards, or something.

Usually I spend half an hour to make a good build for the lost sector, so I can make 4 minute runs on legend lost sectors, and 7-10 minute runs on master lost sectors. If it's just dropping random exotics rather than the slots, it probably means the lost sector has a glitched weightage on the general loot table. The only thing about Lost Sector exotics is they favor dropping the newer exotics (not a guarantee) until they are unlocked. After unlocking, those exotics have equal drop chances from ALL Exotic sources (including world drops or Xur's Fated Engram once all "protected" exotics are obtained and the loot pool is only Exotic armor).

Ran 15 lost sectors today post hotfix. 5 master and 10 legend and received 1 exotic throughout all of it. They fixed lost sector drops last week or so but it feels like todays hotfix broke it again.
