2011 Outback - I have the opposite problem than i’ve seen listed here - my passenger window cannot be controlled from the passenger seat, but only from the driver’s seat. I see a lot of posts about the opposite problem (driver control won’t work on passenger side and needs reset.)I have a window that does not operate automatically on the way down and only raises 40-50mm per pull on the way up. I have tried the reset method over and over. I then stripped the entire system and found nothing wrong with the motor. The motor could be "tired", and that is why it's slower when using just the 12 V from the driver ...It may have been done as a convenient way to recalibrate the anti-entrapment limit sensing. Going back the garage, I turn the push-button start to ON (rather than ACC), and used the passenger side window button to run the window all the way up, all the way back down, and then up again. Now the window operated normally from both the passenger's side button and the driver's side button. Mission accomplished. I chalked it up to a fluke.
