Don't sleep on Achilles spear for cast build even though it isn't explicitly cast focused. The 150% damage boost applies to your cast. My favorite cast build is Achilles spear and stygian soul with the trippy shot + Demeter duo boon. That duo makes the cast more of a projectile than a slow lob.
