I'm mostly trying to figure out the twist rate of the barrel without having to take it apart. Let me know if I can provide any extra info, thanks for yalls time. I believe that S&W began stamping the one line "Made in USA" on the right side after 1921. The large ejector rod knob went away in the late twenties. Correct serial number is on the butt and at the rear of the cylinder.

Need help identifying old S&W revolver. On the top of it, there are dates (Oct 6 01, dec 17 01, feb 6 08, sep 14 09, dec 02 14). Above the dates it reads Smith & Wesson springfield Mass PaTd. when you open cylinder there are four numbers (3568).
