I had inspiration but 0 mana cost on my skills. So I was literally running this on a 5 link the past two days. Swapping my Diallas to 5r1g fixed it at least with a 0 qual inspiration, with a 2 mana cost on my Rolling Magma and no mana on my cyclone. I feel very dumb!

This is my take on the crucible node for rolling magma.By using 2 wands and a helmet with the mod we get 3x 100% more aoe to rolling magma resulting in screenwide nova and overlap for every ball. I actually only have about 100% increased aoe and no aoe supports. Heya. So I really like rolling magma and thought I would try to make it work with the new selfcast buffs. It ended up way stronger than I thought, and my very rudimentary pob (martyr of innocence, a ring with flammability, 1 large/1 medium cluster, and some 1 multi/life jewels, elementalist) already sits at 3-4 mil dps; however, its using intensity, and scorch/shock, so a bunch of more ... You can start with Brands right away, but we would recommend waiting until level 28 so that you can equip Armageddon Brand. Until then, use any Fire Damage Skill. Rolling Magma or Fireball can be both great. The transition to the final form is very gradual, at any point you can replace any piece of equipment with a better one. The true winner for this strat isn't FP, but using Spell Cascade - Frost Bomb. Frost Bomb has the best damage effectiveness to make use of added cold damage, amps its own damage via exposure, and even if it doesn't one-shot your movement skill will be the two-shot. But ever since they changed the Inevitability jewel, Rolling Magma (Magma Orb) has lost its 4 additional projectiles and it now feels sooo bad (you used to run 2 jewels). To get decent clear you need to use GMP and swap it to a Slower Proj for single target, or use GMP with Pinpoint support.
