Mainly after I run it a little while, here lately though as soon as I start it up its like the gas feed is stuck. Disconnect the shift cable at the transmission, this will allow you to work the shifter to see if it's something in the cable as well as work the arm on the transmission by hand to see if it is rough/hard to operate.
