This is anecdotal but it seems like the gun-in-house ratio for March Ridge is much higher than other towns. I find a least a gun or ammo in 3/4 of the residential houses, even the townhomes.Look at the name. March ridge, yet, there is no marching mechanic in the game and no ridge I can jump off of.
