Having figured this out, I wanted to shed some light to this. In order to get the password for the Med-Tek Facility you need, first, to acquire the companion called Mccready who is in the city called Goodneighbor. Then when you acquire him you need to start travelling with him.

Carrying the password is an interesting idea, but it's not a "note" in the game, it's simply a password item—meaning you have to actually have it in your inventory, and then it will bypass the hacking mini-game for the associated terminal. I could carry it to the terminal perhaps, but I'd still have to "steal" it to use it.

There are finishing moves with one handed blunt weapons as well, like batons and tire irons but only against humans, which is really lame since you had them against everything in Skyrim. Real easy, its in covenant.I read, that McCready gives you the password when you arrive at the terminal, and I also read that other people bypassed the problem by using the unlock command.
