The fact that your desktop gets internet is preventing your Google WiFi from getting an IP address (you only get one in bridge mode). Release the IP address from the desktop and disconnect it from the modem. Comcast gateways supply 10.0.0.x addresses to client devices when the gateway is operating in its default "router mode". The agent probably took the gateway out of bridge mode. You'd need to put it back in so it passes the public IP on to your router.
