Over time it was ripping and shredding small pieces of the belt. Hence the small black debris I had at the bottom. The rinse and spin cycle lights were blinking and I did some research. I found out that changing the belt would fix this issue. Meaning the washer couldn’t go into the highest spin gear because of the loose belt.
