Getting waitlisted by Caltech isn't bad? Just got waitlisted by Caltech and honestly am not that disappointed. Checked out their CDS last year and apparently they only waitlist 1% of students. So in total, last year they either admitted or waitlisted 3.7% of their students while 96.3% got rejected.
