And as above say; you can't even change it. At least in survival evolved you were able to change the tether length, only ever being teleported when host went into a cave. But now even if you change it, the distance will always be 180 meters.Ninjuggalo31. Definitely tethered on series x but seems longer than 250m, not sure exact distance but there is still a tether. There is no tether if you play on xbox series x but it's a little bugged. I think playing on "The Island" or "Scorched Earth" is your safest bet, "Aberration" bugs out when you're on the higher plateaus.
